Christian Ilunga is a Principal Sales Engineer at Intelsat where he designs technical solutions and plays a strategic advisory role to existing customers and prospects in francophone Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). His customer base includes amongst other banks, public and private sector organizations, Internet Service Providers (ISP) and Mobile Network Operators (MNO) across the continent. 

Prior to joining Intelsat, he worked for Huawei Technologies where was responsible for the dimensioning, planning, configuration, roll-out, and maintenance of 2G/3G/4G Base Station Sub-system (BSS) across multiple mobile network operators in South Africa. The role included the analysis and reporting of critical Network Quality Performance Indicator as well as network assurance activities.

Christian Ilunga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Cum laude) from the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria and an MBA (Strategy) from the Wits Business School in Johannesburg. He’s currently based at the Sandton Office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
